The bad

Reason 2: Reason 1 was very "snore". Reason 2 is why you're gonna wanna read Reason number 3.

Stuff happens to me. All the time. I mean... ALL THE TIME!

The studies I do, the people I know, and the job I have are a great mix of wonderful things that stress me the hell outta my socks. Literally. 

To counterattack this effect, I have tried a myriad of pills, stress balls ,and even stopped coffee! I swear! I'm caffeine-free for almost 4 months. Still, the anxiety is ever present. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy it. Sometimes, I even enjoy it a bit too much... It's a constant reminder that life isn't a Disney cartoon.

No, no I won't go into that right now. Disney will have to wait its turn to feel my wrath. 

Mainly, what I do for living at the moment is handle very personal, and very sensitive information concerning finances coming from your neighbor that works at Mcdonalds to an individual with a PHD, a businessman, etc. Everybody needs a load for something at some point in their life. No wonder money makes the world goes round...

Basically, I work at a bank and I provide you with a loan. May it be for buying a new electric guitar, to buying a house, to buy a goddamn island! But let's face it, watching a documentary on Celine Dion sounds to be more exciting than this, which is why I chat. Not internet chat, just regular technology impaired chat. Talk, if you prefer, with my clients. Try to get to know them strictly because I feel like it. Since I'm quit good at what I do despite my young age, I can get away with what they call my "counterproductive productive behavior".

Sit tight: I also have to deal with idiots. People who have an impressive potential for a loan, but are as humanly approachable as a rabid bear gnawing on my face. I must admit, these people are still very interesting to blog about due to that fact.   

Obviously, I would like to say that I will not be giving ANY of the information on anything concerning anyone. EVERYTHING will remain anonymous so don't bother asking me where they live or their phone number because I won't give it to you! Thanks in advance.

Suffice to say I meet a lot of interesting people everyday. Also, a lot of very pretty girls!

The good

Reason 1: Work on my writing skills. Thus, expressing myself ,and sharing ideas. Also, to keep track of my day to day life.

I don't write or speak English for a very long time. Where I live is one of the few places on earth that you can be shunned if you are speaking in English. But that's a topic for another post, don't worry!

This blog, on a personal level, will indirectly help me with the grammar and the orthography so that I can express myself with a much richer array of nouns, adjectives and verbs. It's not always fun to have to go through Word thesaurus to find a synonym for this word or that word, or to check the spelling every time a sneaky red squiggly line appears under half the words I wrote in the this paragraph. This is the best way to become better at a language. I'm not a literature wiz, but I have always been very apt in learning a new tongue. From personal experience, it was by reading books and newspaper that I learned most of the stuff I know today. Putting all that in writing is simply my way of not losing what I have learned so far. The guy who said that "practice makes perfect" wasn't a total idiot I suppose...

Also, this is my way of having something to read and to reflect on. To be able to see my evolution in life during its different good and less good stages. To share what I've accomplished and to ponder on my failures... Deep... I know...

At the moment I'm writing this, I'm pretty sure of two things.

1) I really need a drink. My alcoholic-like state of mind is requesting, nay demanding, that I feed it's ever growing need for some vodka or tequila. Yes my friends, beer is for people that enjoy to pee more than they drink.

2) I'd like to share with you the reasons for me for creating this blog. See next post!
